In the interactive installation Letters to an Unknown Friend visitors sit at a desk and scroll through the manipulated computer/typewriter/LCD screen to read and respond to 40 abandoned correspondences (letters from 1914 to 1990’s) discarded at the San Francisco landfill. Work created in collaboration with Nomi Talisman.
