Commissioned by ORLO, an Environmental Arts Organization, Come Closer was built on the invisible urban growth boundary line of a wetlands preserve in Portland, Oregon. Designed to represent the delicate balance between our needs for shelter and the fragility of the natural environment, the project disintegrated back without trace into the earth over time.
